How the protection works
Fast path: eBay orders are checked every minute. A new eBay order is processed atomically: if any line item cannot be uniquely matched, none of that order's website inventory is deducted and the order is not marked complete. It appears above for review and is retried automatically.
Reconciliation: every 15 minutes, active eBay quantities are compared to CMBTrades. For safety, the system never automatically raises inventory during reconciliation—the lower quantity wins.
